Stephen King's The Shining

From the world's best-selling master of horror comes a terrifying miniseries about a little boy with a powerful psychic gift and the danger awaiting his family in Stephen King's The Shining. Recovering alcoholic Jack Torrance (Steven Weber) thrills his patient and supportive wife, Wendy (Rebecca De Mornay), when he becomes the winter caretaker for the luxurious but isolated Overlook Hotel in the Rocky Mountains. Unfortunately, neither listens to their young son, Danny (Courtland Mead), whose haunting premonitions prove true when the demons of the Overlook transform Jack into a murdering psychopath. Snowed in and very alone, Wendy must rely on Danny's clairvoyance to save them from Jack's insanity. Will they get out alive ... or join the hotel's permanent--dead--residents?
