About
Where to watch, without the shady part.
MovieUniverse answers one question: where can I watch this, legally, right now? We list 1,227 current releases with trailers, cast, runtime and every streaming, rental and purchase option we can verify.
Where the movie data comes from
Current releases are read from the Apple TV store catalogue: charts, genre feeds and the public lookup API. That gives us the poster, the synopsis, the certificate, the runtime, the distributor's trailer and the actual rent and buy prices. Where a title is carried elsewhere as well, we add those options from TMDB's watch-provider data, which is sourced from JustWatch.
We do not guess. If we cannot confirm an option, it is not listed. Prices and availability change constantly, so every row links to the store that publishes the price and that is the number you should trust at checkout.
Why current releases link out instead of streaming here
Because we do not hold the rights to them, and a site that streams them without a licence is a piracy site regardless of how it labels itself. Instead, each film page is a well-organised index: here is the film, here is the trailer, here is who sells it and for how much. You complete the transaction with the store, and they pay the people who made it.
That is also why this site can keep a domain, an ad account and a search ranking. The links do not disappear when a host rotates a domain.
Advertising
The site is free because it carries advertising. We use display banners placed outside the player and away from the primary buttons, so they do not interrupt what you came for. We do not run popunders, forced redirects or autoplaying audio.
Some store links are affiliate links. If you rent or buy through one, the store may pay us a small commission. It never changes the price you pay, and it never changes which providers we list — the cheapest verified option is always shown first.
We do not sell your data ourselves. Third-party ad partners may set cookies to measure and personalise ads; if you are in the EU or UK you will be asked for consent, and you can always block third-party scripts without losing access to any page.
Rights and takedowns
If you distribute a film and want its listing changed or removed, email skywalkerkick@gmail.com with the title, the store link on this page and your relationship to the work. We action listing requests on request while a claim is reviewed — no lawyer required, no argument.
We do not host any video file. Removing a title from this catalogue does not remove it from the store; that requires a separate request to the store.
What we do not do
- No streaming or hosting of current releases.
- No cam rips, no scene releases, no torrents, no magnet links.
- No third-party file hosts full of malware and pop-ups.
- No accounts, no email capture, no paywall, no “premium” tier.
- No mislabelled resolutions or fake 4K badges.
